Divine
Intervention Ministry believes:
.
The
Bible to be the inerrant and infallible Word
of God, that it is His holy and inspired
Word, and that it is of supreme and final
authority (2 Timothy 3:16)
In
one God, eternally existing in three persons:
Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (1
John 5:7)
Jesus
Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit (Matthew
1:18, Luke 1:35), and born of the Virgin Mary (Isaiah
7:14, Matthew 1:23). He led a sinless life (Hebrews
4:15),
took on Himself all our sins (1
John 2:2), died and rose from the dead (Romans
5:8, Acts 10:40), and is seated at the right
hand of the Father as our only mediator and
advocate (Mark 16:19, 1
Timothy 2:5, 1 John 2:1)
That
all men everywhere are lost and face the
Judgment of God (Romans 2:16, 3:23), and need to come to a
saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His
shed blood on the cross (1
Timothy 2:4, 1 John 1:7)
That
Jesus Christ will appear at any moment for
His Church (John 14:3, 1
Corinthians 15:52, Hebrews 9:28)
In
holy Christian living (Galatians
5:25),
and that we must have concern for the hurts
and social needs of our fellowmen (Galatians
6:9-10)
We
must dedicate ourselves to the service of our
Lord (Romans 12:1) and to His authority
over our lives (Matthew 10:28)
In
using every modern means of communication
available to us to spread the Gospel of Jesus
Christ throughout the world (Mark
16:15)
