A twin terrorist
attack occurred in Istanbul, Turkey this morning
against the British consulate. At this writing,
over two dozen have been killed, and over 400
injured. Shortly after, Al Quaeda, one of many
Islamic terrorist organizations, took
responsibility for the attacks. President Bush, on a
diplomatic mission to Great Britain at the time,
was asked by a reporter in regard to the attacks
and those responsible: 'Do you believe God
and Allah are the same?'
The President's
answer was: "I believe we worship
the same God." To which I immediately
thought to myself, 'well, that explains why
our President says Islam is a religion of peace.'
For the benefit of those reading, and
President Bush if he happens by Divine
Intervention, allow me reiterate the facts of
Scripture that show our President is grossly
incorrect:
The Koran says
that Allah does not have a son:
"...the
Christians say: The Messiah is the son of Allah;
these are the words of their mouths; they imitate
the saying of those who disbelieved before; may
Allah destroy them; how they are turned
away!" (Sura [Chapter] 9.30)
"And say:
(All) praise is due to Allah, Who has not taken a
son and Who has not a partner in the
kingdom..." (Sura 17.111)
"Never
did Allah take to Himself a son, and never was
there with him any (other) god..." (Sura
23.91)
However, the Bible
says that Jesus is the only begotten Son of God:
"God
hath fulfilled the same unto us their children,
in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is
also written in the second psalm, Thou art my
Son, this day have I begotten thee." (Acts
13:33)
"In
this was manifested the love of God toward us,
because that God sent his only begotten Son into
the world, that we might live through him."
(1 John 4:9)
---------------------
The Koran says not
only for a Muslim to not befriend a Jew or a
Christian, but to kill them:
"O you
who believe! do not take the Jews and the
Christians for friends; they are friends of each
other; and whoever amongst you takes them for a
friend, then surely he is one of them; surely
Allah does not guide the unjust people."
(Sura 5.51)
"And kill
them wherever you find them, and drive them out
from whence they drove you out, and persecution
is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with
them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with
you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay
them; such is the recompense of the
unbelievers." (Sura 2.191)
But, Jesus said to
love one another, including those who hate you:
"Ye
have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt
love thy neighbor, and hate thine enemy. But I
say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that
curse you, do good to them that hate you, and
pray for them which despitefully use you, and
persecute you;" (Matthew 5:43-44)
The Bible further
corroborates Jesus' statement, and directly
contradicts the Koran:
"Whosoever
hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know
that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in
him." (1 John 3:15)
---------------------
The Koran states
that Allah does not love those who sin:
"And
fight in the way of Allah with those who fight
with you, and do not exceed the limits, surely
Allah does not love those who exceed the
limits." (Sura 2.190)
"Allah
does not bless usury, and He causes charitable
deeds to prosper, and Allah does not love any
ungrateful sinner." (Sura 2.276)
But the Bible
shows that God loves everyone, regardless of
their sin. So much, in fact, that He sent Jesus
to die on the cross in our place:
"But
God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while
we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."
(Romans 5:8)
---------------------
The Koran says
that Jesus (called Isa in the Koran) was only an
apostle, not the Messiah, and did not really die
on the cross:
"And
their saying: Surely we have killed the Messiah,
Isa son of Marium, the apostle of Allah; and they
did not kill him nor did they crucify him, but it
appeared to them so (like Isa) and most surely
those who differ therein are only in a doubt
about it; they have no knowledge respecting it,
but only follow a conjecture, and they killed him
not for sure." (Sura 4.157)
However, the Bible
shows that Jesus was crucified, rose from the
dead, and is the Savior of the world:
"And
they crucified him, and parted his garments,
casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which
was spoken by the prophet, They parted my
garments among them, and upon my vesture did they
cast lots." (Matthew 27:35)
"Him
God raised up the third day, and showed him
openly;" (Acts 10:40)
"And
said unto the woman, Now we believe, not because
of thy saying: for we have heard him ourselves,
and know that this is indeed the Christ, the
Savior of the world." (John 4:42)
"And
we have seen and do testify that the Father sent
the Son to be the Savior of the world." (1
John 4:14)
---------------------
The Koran denies
the existence of the Trinity; God the Father, God
the Son, and God the Holy Spirit:
"...believe
therefore in Allah and His apostles, and say not,
Three. Desist, it is better for you; Allah is
only one God; far be It from His glory that He
should have a son, whatever is in the heavens and
whatever is in the earth is His, and Allah is
sufficient for a Protector." (Sura 4.171)
But the Bible
speaks specifically of the existence of the
Trinity:
"And
the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and
we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only
begotten of the Father,) full of grace and
truth." (John 1:14)
"For
there are three that bear record in heaven, the
Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these
three are one." (1 John 5:7)
These are only a
few of the many contradictory doctrinal points
between the Holy Bible and the Koran; but
remember, we offered evidence in a previous commentary that the Bible can be
proven true. So, with these latter days come the
heresies of false religion, false beliefs and
damnable doctrine. Even men of supposed Christian
faith, leaders of our Federal Government, appear
fooled into believing that Islam is a religion of
peace. But when compared to the Word of God in
the Bible, the Koran shows itself differently. As
Christians, we should expect such false teachings
as from the Koran to rear their ugly head as the
Tribulation draws ever nearer.
I know what
President Bush is thinking: 'If Allah is God,
then the religion of Islam must certainly be
peaceful, since God's Word in the Bible promotes
peace.' But, until President Bush realizes
that Allah is not the God of Abraham, Isaac and
Jacob, and continues to believe the lies he is
told about the teachings of Islam, he leaves the
United States, our overseas interests, and our
allies open for future, and more horrendous
attacks.
Time is short;
Jesus is coming; it's time, Mr. President, to
take your head out of the sand and listen to the
Holy Spirit instead of your advisors.
