It simply takes
my breath away. Not because I can't believe what
I'm seeing and hearing in the news every day but
because of the speed in which events are
unfolding! The Lord has blessed us to actually
witness the events He said in Matthew
24 would
occur when the Last Days were upon us:
"So
likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things,
know that it is near, even at the doors."
(Matthew 24:33)
And the context He
uses is when all these things are beginning to
occur simultaneously, it's then that His
appearing for us in the Rapture is near:
"And
when these things begin to come to pass, then
look up, and lift up your heads; for your
redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)
We've made a short
video showing how easy it is to 'see all
these things'. Watch it below...
It's sad to
observe the moral decay of America and the
ethical decline of our Government. But with these
things comes the knowledge that Jesus is soon to
appear. Let's look at how America is spiraling
toward an abyss of no return and how our
Government is doing everything backwards by
calling "evil good and good
evil" (Isaiah 5:20).
A
few weeks ago a California school imposed a homosexual
curriculum on classes
by approving a mandatory 'gay-day' for
Kindergarten through fifth-grade students.
There's no way to minimize the fact that God
condemns homosexuality. The New American Standard
Bible renders this verse best:
"Or
do you not know that the unrighteous will not
inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived;
neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor
adulterers, nor effeminate, nor
homosexuals," (1 Corinthians 6:9)
Then hardly two
weeks later, a U.S. Court banned
a Pennsylvania Mother from reading a Bible in
class for her child's 'show and tell'.
And exactly like the Bible said would occur, the
powers-that-be are calling evil good and good
evil.
Our new President
doesn't personally have any better track record
dealing with gay issues either. He's just as
sinfully wrong addressing the subject as the
Courts. Less than a month into his Administration
the White House called for the repeal
of the Defense of Marriage Act making him the most
pro-homosexual President in history. Then less
than two weeks ago he honored
Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT)
Pride Month and said he's proud to be
the first President to appoint openly LGBT
candidates to Senate-confirmed positions in the
first 100 days of an Administration.
Makes you proud to be an American doesn't it. (I
say that with complete and utter sarcasm.)
All those stories
are well and good for showing the moral depravity
of America and its leaders, but there's something
just as distressing in relation to God's
protection and blessing of our country and that's
America's relationship with Israel. Remember,
Israel is God's land (2 Chronicles 7:20,
Isaiah 14:25, Jeremiah 2:7 & 16:18, Ezekiel
36:5 & 38:16 and Joel 1:6 & 3:2) and is inhabited by His
chosen people (Isaiah 43:20 &
65:15, 1 Chronicles 16:13, Psalms 33:12, Mark
13:20 and 1 Peter 2:9). If you want a blessing, simply
bless the people and nation of Israel. But if you
do them wrong, prepare to face God's anger:
"And
I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him
that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families
of the earth be blessed." (Genesis 12:3)
"For
thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory
hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled
you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple
of his eye." (Zechariah 2:8)
It's a frightening
thing to come under the condemnation of God for
going against His land and chosen people. So how
is our President handling this task? Not well at
all. His very
first telephone call from the Oval Office to a
foreign statesman was made to President Mahmoud
Abbas, the leader of the so-called Palestinians
who continually call for the destruction of
Israel and refuse to acknowledge it as a
legitimate Jewish state.
Since his
inauguration the President has constantly kept
pressure on Israel to divide its nation with the
Arabs in an effort to negotiate a peace
agreement. Only a few weeks ago he promised
the Arabs that Jerusalem would be theirs.
When that comes to pass, and it will, and if
America is complicit in the deal the United
States will pay a very high price:
"I
will also gather all nations, and will bring them
down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will
plead with them there for my people and for my
heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among
the nations, and parted my land." (Joel 3:2)
And then, if that
weren't enough to anger the God of the universe,
only a few days ago the President goes one step
further in distancing the United States from
Israel. Here's the
news story:
Late
on Friday The Washington Times' Christian
Bourge obtained a copy of Presidential
Determination 2009-19, latest in a series
of pro forma memos to the Secretary of
State entitled "Suspension of
Limitations Under the Jerusalem Embassy
Act." This determination is a
legally required waiver under said act to
continue to delay the May 31, 1999
deadline for moving the U.S. Embassy in
Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.
Nearly
identical memos like this have been
issued every six months for the last
decade. Standard procedure, no big deal,
right? Well in the Bush years the memo
contained the sentence,
"My
Administration remains committed to
beginning the process of moving our
embassy to Jerusalem."
The
Obama team has edited that passage out.
This explains the Friday evening release.
With the omission
of that one line the President might as well have
said, 'The United States no longer recognizes,
nor will recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital
nor as their sole possession.' How arrogant,
how egotistical to speak as though the United
States has such sovereignty over Israel as to
nullify recognition of their God-given capital. I
don't believe I'm overstating this when I say
that with this single act I believe the President
has signed America's death warrant:
"And
this shall be the plague wherewith the LORD will
smite all the people that have fought against
Jerusalem; Their flesh shall consume away while
they stand upon their feet, and their eyes shall
consume away in their holes, and their tongue
shall consume away in their mouth."
(Zechariah 14:12)
It seems to be
arrogance and pride that drives this
Administration. It has been learned that along
the walls in the West Wing of the White House
near the Oval Office the President has placed many
pictures of himself. If he's that enamored
with his own image he might as well have placed
mirrors instead of photos.
First, he needs to
realize that this attitude is sin:
"An
high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of
the wicked, is sin." (Proverbs 21:4)
And second, if he
doesn't repent and have a change of heart, it
will lead to his downfall:
"Pride
goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit
before a fall." (Proverbs 16:18)
I seriously doubt
however that the President would take a dose of
humility because he's too much into making a name
for himself and his Administration. Only a few
days ago Israel's Prime Minister Benjamin
Netenyahu was told
by an 'American official' in Jerusalem that "We
are going to change the world. Please don't
interfere." That doesn't sound like a
man who is or will be in the throws of
repentance.
For those who say
I'm being judgmental, yes, I am. I have a
Biblical right to be:
"Judge
not according to the appearance, but judge
righteous judgment." (John 7:24)
"Know
ye not that we shall judge angels? how much more
things that pertain to this life?" (1
Corinthians 6:3)
Jesus told us to
judge things according to Biblical standards and
principals. That's what I've done with our
nation, the Government and the President, and the
reason why is to show that every news story I've
offered is what Jesus said to watch for when His
appearing was near. It's exactly like He said it
would be in the Last Days and I haven't even
mentioned North Korea's testing of nuclear
weapons and their testing of a missile delivery
system which could reach the United States. Or
how about Iran's continuing efforts to produce
nukes and their developing relationship with
Russia. Like I said, it simply takes my breath
away.
Have you repented
of your sins, confessed Him as Lord and received
Him as your Savior? Are you ready? You'd better
be.
